Who We Are

Meet Dr. Mikaela Wilson

B H Sc (Chiropractic) B App Sc (Chiropractic)
Diplomate in Paediatric Neurology

The face behind Noosa Family Chiropractic

My passion lies in whole family chiropractic care, infant and childhood development, adolescent and women’s health and mental health. It was such a pleasure creating a natural, calm and safe space for our community here in the Noosa Junction.

Having completed a two year post grad Diplomate in Neuro-developmental Paediatrics, it allows me to combine my love for children with the knowledge it takes to support their systems to thrive.

Whist in practice I am lit up by deep conversations and connections with people, seeing people’s personal lives change because they are more in tune and aligned with themselves, and precious moments with babies and kids make my day.

Out of practice I enjoy sipping coffee at a local café with my husband Jordan, moving my body with pilates, yoga or running through the National Park, ocean swims, music, and sharing good food and drinks with friends.

Jordan and I are both originally Victorian’s, but have been in Noosa for almost three years now and I can’t see us moving back ;)

I can’t wait to see you; my family based practice is here to empower and expand you, to come home to your body and cultivate more YOU.

Meet Dr. Somala Jacobs

B H Sc (Chiropractic) B App Sc (Chiropractic)
Diplomate in Paediatric Neurology

Dr Somala was just a few weeks old when she received her first chiropractic adjustment. Since then, both her and her family have been benefiting from regular chiropractic care and Somala has witnessed first hand the incredible impact it has had in her and her family’s lives.

Somala has been practicing in Melbourne since completing her Chiropractic degree at RMIT where she graduated with distinction. She has loved completing further postgraduate study in paediatric care and development, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) and pregnancy care, always with a thirst to continue her learning to better serve her community. Prior to her degree, Somala studied Clinical Nutrition for which she holds a diploma and became a Certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

Somala views health as multi-faceted and recognises the physical, chemical and emotional aspects that contribute to our complete well being. Her passion lies in helping her clients calm their nervous systems so that ease in the system can allow for a higher expression of health, cultivating the unique gifts of each individual. Somala loves working with people of all ages and stages of life, particularly during pregnancy and the early stages of life.

Somala was born and raised in Noosa and she and her husband are truly excited to back home on the Sunshine Coast. Somala fills her creative cup with photography, loves camping, the beach, traveling and her dog, Kip.

Meet Ruby Hindmarsh

Chiropractic Assistant

My name is Ruby, and I have been lucky enough to call the Sunshine Coast home since 2006.

I have a passion for health both mental and physical and believe such nurture will create a change.

I am currently undergoing study to pursue a career in the health industry and also a Chiropractic Assistant here at NFC.

Amongst work and study, I love to spend my spare time practicing pilates or enjoying the Coast’s beautiful nature.
